About NATC
The North Alabama Technology Conference (NATC) is hosted by Madison County School System along with assistance and support of the Alabama A&M Regional Inservice Center. This is the 10th anniversary for NATC. Our average attendance has been about 300 educators, but we are expecting between 400-500 this year. The NATC conference offers a wide range of professional learning opportunities for teachers, librarians, administrators, and other school personnel.
Keynote Speaker for this year is Travis Allen, 22 year old college student, founder and CEO of iSchool Initiative, promoting digital learning in the classroom.
This year’s conference will focus on blended learning, the new MCSS Learning Management System-CANVAS, MakerSpace, and mobile learning, including bring your own technology (BYOT), 1:1 classroom, the flipped classroom, common core and technology, tablets and apps, web tools, digital citizenship, and integrating technology into the classroom.
